Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) provides spherical H13 steel powder suitable for 3D Printing applications. As the additive manufacturing industry advances, so will our additive manufacturing powder product offerings.
Spherical H13 steel powder is used to manufacture forging die with large impact load, hot extrusion dies, precision forging dies; aluminum, copper and its alloy die-casting die. H13 has superior machinability and polishing properties, high toughness and high plasticity, high wear resistance at high temperatures, excellent overall hardenability, and good high-temperature strength and thermal fatigue resistance. At the same time, H13 has a small deformation during heat treatment, and a tendency to generate iron oxide scale during air quenching is small.
Spherical H13 steel powder can be used in a variety of metal 3D printers including Renishaw, EOS, ConceptLaser, SLM, 3Dsystems, Arcam and more.
