Stanford Advanced Materials (SAM) offers optical grade undoped Czochralski grown titanium dioxide crystal substrates with high optical homogeneity excluding central core of crystal boules, without visible striae with shadowgraph, inclusions and bubbles.
Optical grade rutile titanium dioxide crystal substrates have large birefringence, large refractive index. TiO2 single crystal substrate is a good material for spectral prism and polarizing device (such as optical isolators and the beam splitter). Compared with YVO4, the TiO2 crystals have better physical and chemical stability.
