Zirconium is a chemical element with the symbol Zr and atomic number 40. It is a lustrous, grey-white, strong transition metal that closely resembles hafnium and, to a lesser extent, titanium. The relative atomic mass of calcium is 40.078(4) Dalton, the number in the brackets indicating the uncertainty.
